Back to School = Running Errands Sans Kid
The hardest part of having Andrew home over the summer was running errands. Especially shopping! What shouldn’t take too long would turn into a day long trip. Not to mention the pleas of “just one cheap toy.” I couldn’t even go to the grocery store for a gallon of milk without a temper tantrum and emotional break downs.
So today is the second day of school. I had some things I needed to do. So here’s my day.
- Stop at Sam’s Club for Pee Pee Pads
- Stop at Comcast to pay cable bill (and clear up account they messed up)
- Stop at Library to drop off books
- Stop at Grocery Store to pick up a few things
Timeline? Just over an hour.
Timeline if Andrew has been with me? At least 3 or 4 hours easily. Plus would have cost me at least another $5-10 at the store.
