I don’t normally post prayer requests here. I have community groups for that, but I need to reach as many people as possible to pray for my sister right now.
My sister, Stephanie, needs prayers urgently.
She has rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and a few other auto-immune issues including no spleen. The last few weeks she’s had severe memory loss and a list of symptoms so long I can’t list them all. She’s even fell a couple times and hurt herself and can’t remember it. My other sister, Amber, lives with her to help take care of her because at this point she is so bad she can not live alone. Not long ago Amber found Stephanie on the floor of the bathroom with blood everywhere. Amber had to clean her up and stuff. Later Stephanie asked Amber why there was blood on her shirt. When Amber told her, she was in shock. She didn’t even remember a fall so bad that it caused blood to be every where.
Anyway, Thursday morning when Amber got up Stephanie was asleep on the living room floor. It looked like she had fell because the coffee table was moved like she had fell against it. Amber got her woke up enough to get her up on the couch. Stephanie slept all day and ended up sleeping 18 hours straight until she woke up a little bit ago. Amber called me hysterical around 2 in the morning her time because Stephanie could not walk at all. The skin on her face and her lips were grayishand her eyeballs look swollen.
Please pray for God’s touch on Stephanie and Amber. They live in Georgia. I’m in Utahand mom is in California. There isn’t a whole lot we can do from here other than we did call on a conference call and tell Stephanie she had two choices.
Pray for the kids too. Stephanie has two beautiful boys who need her. The 8 year old is in bed and doesn’t know yet what has happened, but the 13 year old is up and crying because he’s scared to death he’s going to lose her.
They didn’t end up taking Stephanie to the hospital last night. By the time Amber got my brother awake and over there to help her into the car, Stephanie was doing better. The swelling was downand the color was back in her face. However, she was still doing pretty bad. They decided that because there were 4 kids in the house that had nobody to come watch them, to wait until this morning after they got the kids off to school.
So they took her in this morningand they’ve been there most the day. Her white blood cell count is 38,000. Other than that, they can not find anything wrong with her. They’ve done an EKG and CT scan and didn’t find anything wrong. She’s basically delirious right now also. Amber said her eyes were rolling in the back of her head. At one point she was even talking to Andrew in the direction of an empty part of the room. For those that don’t know, Andrew is my son and in Utah with me. She hasn’t seen him since April. They did decide to admit her. Right now she doesn’t even know she’s been admitted because she’s that out of it.
Thank you for all of your prayers and support.
